Cricket
ADULTS:
Indoor Cricket, which is very popular with adults, can be played in various ways. Adults can book a court and practice amongst themselves. A team can also book a court to play a game. A team comprises of 8 players a side with a 16 overs a side game. An umpire is provided to oversee the game. If there are fewer players then one could opt for a 6 a side 12 over match. Practice time is given 15 minutes prior to start of match subject to court availability. Adult leagues and one-day tournaments are a regular feature at InSportz. Call and register yourself to receive details of up coming events. We can also organize games for teams by arranging matches with other teams from our database. Call in and request for a game accordingly.
JUNIORS:
The younger and enthusiastic cricketers have one-day tournaments organized by us. Social teams, school teams, club teams etc. can register themselves by faxing in the registration form. Juniors need to provide adequate proof of age and tournaments are conducted in age categories namely 11 & under, 13 & under, 15 & under and 17 & under. Juniors can also book in to play a game or have a practice session with their friends.
FOREWORD
As with most sports, the rules are very simple, although sometimes a situation requires expert interpretation – and your match umpire is trained to provide exactly that adjudication.
In the event that you and your team do not agree with a decision, your captain may seek a clarification from the umpire – but remember the umpire’s job is a difficult one, and their decision is final.
Indoor Cricket offers you many opportunities to develop your skills, from social matches to International games. Whatever your skill level and motivation, you’ll find every match to be enjoyable and challenging.
All the best in your Indoor Cricket career, and may you and your team enjoy the success your best efforts deserve.
